Thus, the application of the PDRS has required adjustments in the Canary Islands which derive from their specific conditions. Sustainable rural development
The preview version of Sustainable Rural Development Programme 2010/2014 was submitted to public information by decision of Director General of Sustainable Rural Development, Ministry of Environment and Rural and Marine Affairs, including the proposed delimitation of rural areas in the Canary Islands , held in by the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and Food with the participation of the Island Councils, the island FECAM and rural development associations.
In the process of public information received submissions, both in the Ministry of the Environment and Rural and Marine Affairs, and in the Ministry of Agriculture,Oliva_de_la_Frontera_Badajozw, Livestock, Fisheries and Food, concerning the delimitation and classification of rural areas by the Cabildo Insular de La Gomera, Lanzarote and Tenerife in the municipalities of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, San Bartolome de Tirajana, Santa Brigida, Santa Lucia, Tazacorte, Valleseco and Agueimes and Tamadaba Nature Park Foundation.
Once settled the allegations, the delimitation of the seven rural, one per island and their qualifications, details the municipalities whose territory is included in full in rural areas and for those municipalities whose territory is not fully comply with the requirements in rural areas, which are listed entities of the same population that have been defined and are part of the rural area.
